At the end of June Beth, Jason, and Wyatt asked us to go with them to the San Diego Zoo. The kids all enjoyed seeing the koalas and climbing on the play structure...
We saw the elephants (Makenna's favorite animal) and stopped a few other times to let the kids run around and play on the many other play structures around the zoo. We let Makenna and Wyatt take over the map and tell us where they wanted to go. Unfortunately some of the animals were sleeping, but that is always the case in the middle of the day.
The play area that Makenna still talks about though is the seal area where they got to climb through tunnels and pop their heads out of the "ice".
We had a great time at the zoo playing and watching all of the interesting animals.
